Welcome to Racing 4 Real: A corporate hospitality and team building experience in a simulated Formula 1 environment where participants get close to the action with real racing cars on real race tracks. Formula one events and corporate hospitality.
Experience: Racing 4 Real is a unique team building opportunity that allows you
to get close to the world of Formula 1. Your team of 6 competitors will join
us in the garage of a real race track to prepare your car for free practice,
qualifying and a 15 lap race.
Ahead of
you lie a myriad of problems and incidents, the kind of which befall a modern
day formula 1 team every other weekend. Your teams' job is to solve the problems
and bring your car home ahead of the rest. As in all motorsport, it's not just
about being first across the line, it's about making sure that the car is safe,
that it conforms to all the technical rules and regulations, that the set up is optimised for the track and the weather conditions
and that your team observe all the governing bodies sporting regulations.
Be warned - you could cross the line only to find you've been disqualified. It matters how quick your team perform their live pit stop, but it also matters that you work as a team, that you communicate effectively, that you observe the time limits and you work efficiently. But even if you make all the right moves - something could still trip you up and send you slipping off the podium.
In Racing 4 Real you will experience the kind of pressure and decisions that a formula
1 team face at every race. Your every move will be scrutinized and
you'll be marked on a points system. We'll give you the right training and we'll
make sure everyone is safe. The rest is up to you.
How Much: Cost per head is dependent on many factors not least where you
decide to hold your race. Track hire in mainland Europe is often less expensive but
transport costs may be higher. Let us know your preferred location and we'll
give you an estimated cost per head. A minimum team is 6 people and a Racing
4 Real day consists of 4 competing teams.
Where: Racing 4 Real involves real racing cars and therefore must be performed at real race tracks with marshals and safety procedures. But don't worry - all you have to do is tell us your preferred date and we'll find a track for you. Alternatively, tell us your preferred location and we'll let you know when the track is available.
Gear: Everyone is issued with full team uniforms and fireproof overalls for the all important pit stop. You'll also have mechanics gloves, balaclavas, goggles and headsets - so you'll look and feel the part as well as keeping safe. In fact the photo's from the day are so realistic you'll be boring your mates for years to come. All your guests need to bring is a pair of flat shoes and some trousers (preferably black).
Drivers: We pick our Racing 4 Real drivers from the up and coming ranks of Formula racing. We also pick drivers with the right personality to become part of your team. So who knows, your Racing 4 Real driver could be a Formula 1 driver of the future
Equipment: The Racing 4 Real cars are replica Formula 1 models in full racing livery. Powered by Honda engines and weighing approx 350 kilo's, they sound fantastic and are very quick. The cars are slightly smaller than real F1 cars and are less technically challenging - which is just as well because it's the team members who make all the set up changes and adjustments. The garage is also constructed to look and feel exactly like a real Formula 1 garage and there's also a pit perch so you can view the race at close quarters.
